For dental offices
An AI receptionist for dental offices that answers when the front desk can't
Patients call at lunch, after hours and while your team is with someone in the chair. Rample answers, asks whether they're new or returning and what they need, and books the visit, so a new patient doesn't hang up and call the next practice on the list.

An unanswered call is often a new patient
A front desk juggles check-ins, checkouts and the phone at the same time, and the phone loses. The caller who reaches voicemail is usually someone looking for a dentist, and they have a list.
Growth is on most practices' minds: in an American Dental Association survey reported by the California Dental Association, 35% of dentists said they wanted more patients.

How Rample answers your practice's phone
Keep your number and forward calls to Rample, or use the local number Rample sets up for you. On that number it rings you first during opening hours and picks up if nobody can, and it answers straight away when you're closed.
- It asks whether the caller is a new or returning patient, why they're calling and whether it's urgent.
- It checks your open times and books the appointment during the call.
- Questions about insurance, billing, records or prescriptions go to your team: it tells the caller your front desk will confirm them, and takes a message.
- If it mentions a price, it's always the price before insurance, never what the patient will owe.
- Every call opens with a short recording notice, and you get an email with what was said.
Urgent calls reach your team
Calls that sound urgent, like a knocked-out tooth, swelling or bleeding, are flagged to you right away. Rample doesn't give clinical advice, and if a caller has trouble breathing or swallowing, or bleeding that won't stop, it tells them to call 911.
Reminders and fewer empty chairs
Patients get a reminder the day before and another about two hours ahead, with a link to move or cancel online instead of calling. Cancellations are worth watching: the California Dental Association suggests looking into it when they run above 10%.
On the Receptionist + Marketing plan, patients can book, move or cancel by text, and patients who haven't booked in a while get an email inviting them back.

Reviews, posts and membership plans
When you mark a visit done, Rample texts the patient (if they agreed to texts) a link to leave a Google review, and it drafts replies to new reviews for you to approve. Nothing is posted until you say so.
It writes social posts about your practice and your services, never using patients' faces or before-and-after photos, and reminds you when each one is due.
Many practices now offer in-house membership plans for patients without insurance; about a quarter of dentists did in a 2021 ADA survey. Rample can run membership plans with monthly card billing once you connect Stripe.
