Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

Rample AI, Inc (“Rample”) provides software that service businesses use to run their operations, including a website, booking, invoicing, customer messaging and marketing. This policy explains what we collect from the business owners who use Rample, how we handle the customer data they store here, and how we handle the text messages those businesses send to their customers.

1. Information we collect

From the business owner: name, email address, phone number, business name and location, and the details you enter about your services and pricing.

From your customers: when someone books with you or contacts you, we store what they submit: name, contact details, address for the booking, whether they agreed to receive text messages, and the messages exchanged. You are the controller of that data; we process it on your behalf.

Automatically: log data, IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited.

2. How we use it

To operate the product: publish your website, take bookings, send invoices, deliver your messages, and generate the content and lead suggestions you ask for. We use it to support you, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your customers' data to advertise to them on our own behalf.

3. Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We use a small number of providers to deliver the service. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting and data storage (United States)
  • Supabase: authentication
  • SendGrid: email delivery
  • Twilio: SMS and voice
  • ElevenLabs: the phone agent that answers calls for a business
  • Anthropic: writing replies, website copy and content
  • OpenAI: reading and sorting information, checking leads, and writing when Anthropic is unavailable
  • Stripe: payment processing, where you enable it
  • Google: sign-in, and the Calendar, Business Profile, Analytics and Ads features you connect
  • Google Analytics: visits to our own public website, rample.ai
  • Meta: Facebook and Instagram posting, lead forms and direct messages you connect
  • PostHog: product analytics and session recordings inside the app (United States)

We share information when required by law, and with a successor if the business is acquired. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described in this section; see section 4.

4. Text messages (SMS)

Businesses that use Rample can send text messages to their customers about those customers' own appointments: booking confirmations, reminders, arrival and running-late updates, changes to a booking, and estimates to review. Every message names the business it comes from. The messages are delivered through our messaging provider, Twilio.

How you opt in. We only send these texts to someone who has agreed to receive them, either by checking the text message box on a business's booking page, or by saying yes when the business's phone agent asks during a call. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking.

Frequency, cost and opting out. Message frequency varies with your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email us at admin@rample.ai. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and your consent are used only to deliver the messages you agreed to receive. They are never sold, rented or shared with anyone else.

5. Google account data

If you choose to, you can sign in with Google or connect your Google account to Rample. Each asks Google for different things, and only when you start it.

Signing in with Google gives us your name and email address, which we use to create and identify your account. Nothing else.

Connecting your Google account in Settings lets Rample work with the Google services you use for your business:

  • Google Calendar: we add, move and remove the events for bookings made through Rample. We cannot create, delete or share whole calendars.
  • Google Business Profile: we read your listings so you can choose one, and publish the posts and listing updates you approve.
  • Google Analytics: we read visitor reports for your website and can set up a property for it.
  • Google Ads: we list the ad accounts you can open so you can choose one, and read the Local Services Ads leads it receives (the customer’s name, phone number, email and request) so you can answer them in Rample. We do not create, change or pay for ads.

We use this data only to provide those features to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. People at Rample do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Rample’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The credential Google gives us is stored encrypted. Disconnecting Google in Settings revokes our access at Google and deletes our copy of that credential. You can also remove Rample’s access at any time from your Google account permissions.

6. Facebook and Instagram data

If you choose to, you can connect your business’s Facebook Page and Instagram account to Rample in Settings > Connections. We ask Meta for access only when you start it.

What we receive. When you connect, Meta gives us the name of your Facebook Page and of the Instagram account linked to it (or, if you connect Instagram on its own, your Instagram account name), and access tokens that let Rample act for that Page and account.

What we do with it.

  • Posting: we publish the posts you approve, post with Post now, or let Rample post automatically, to your Facebook Page and Instagram account.
  • Lead forms: we receive the answers people give in your Facebook and Instagram lead forms, with the name of the ad, and add them to Rample as leads.
  • Direct messages: we receive the Instagram direct messages people send your business and keep them with your business’s conversations, so you can read and answer them in Rample. If you turn on automatic replies, an automated assistant answers them and tells people it is automated when it starts answering. You can always reply yourself.

Where message text goes. To write a reply, we send the message and the earlier messages in that conversation to our AI provider, Anthropic, or to OpenAI if Anthropic is unavailable. When a message needs you, or you take a conversation over from the assistant, we keep a short excerpt for up to 120 days so Rample can learn how you like conversations handled. If a conversation is linked to one of your customers, it appears in that customer’s timeline in Rample, where you, your assistant in Rample and AI tools you connect to Rample can see it. It is not given, as part of that customer’s history, to the automated assistants that answer your customers (the phone agent and text and email replies), and the Instagram reply assistant sees only the conversation it is answering.

The access tokens are stored encrypted. We use this data only to provide these features to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Disconnecting. Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram in Settings > Connections stops Meta sending us your Page’s and account’s updates and deletes our copy of the access tokens. Removing Rample from your Facebook account stops our access in the same way. The direct messages already received stay in your conversations until you delete your account, or until you send a deletion request as described below.

Deletion requests. In your Facebook account’s settings for apps and websites, you can also ask Facebook to delete the data Rample received. That sends us a deletion request. We then delete the connection you made through Facebook, including the Instagram account linked to your Page, the access tokens, and the Instagram direct messages we stored for your business, including the excerpts described above and the short previews in your alerts in Rample, and Meta shows you a confirmation code. You can check the request’s status at https://api.rample.ai/api/meta/data-deletion/ followed by that code. You can also email us at admin@rample.ai to ask for the same.

If you connected Instagram on its own, without a Facebook Page, remove it with Disconnect in Settings > Connections, or email us at admin@rample.ai to have its data deleted.

7. Product analytics and session recordings

When you use the Rample app, we use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States, to understand which features are used and to find problems. It records the pages you visit, how long you stay, what you click and, for some sessions, a recording of the screen.

Everything typed into a form is hidden in these recordings, and screens that show your customers' details (messages, call transcripts, customer lists, invoices, payments and members) are blanked out before anything leaves your browser. We never record pages your customers see, such as your booking or payment pages.

We use this information only to improve Rample, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Closing your account deletes it too. If you report a problem in the app, we also receive the page you were on, your browser type, recent error messages, a link to that session's recording, and any screenshot you attach.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we will action it.

If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and your consent where required.

9. California residents

Californians have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

10. Our marketing emails

Every marketing email we send carries a working one-click unsubscribe link. Opting out stops marketing email; it does not stop essential messages about your account, such as booking confirmations, invoices and receipts.

11. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account we delete or anonymize it within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

12. Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and one to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Both are necessary for the product to work. On our public website (the home, help, signup and legal pages, not the app and not the pages we host for a business), Google Analytics sets cookies that count visits and show how people find us. It is not used for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies. Inside the app, PostHog keeps an identifier in your browser to measure use as described in section 7.

13. Children's privacy

Rample is a tool for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

14. Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and tell account holders by email.

15. Contact

Questions, or a request about your data: email Rample AI, Inc at admin@rample.ai. Our Terms of Service also apply.
